Rabun County Tourism

As part of Forward Rabun, Rabun County Tourism develops marketing and advertising initiatives to promote Rabun County as a tourist destination as well as for other economic development purposes. As Georgia's Farm-to-Table Capital, Rabun County restaurants offer a wide assortment of food and dining options utilizing locally grown meats and produce, from award winning bar-be-que to traditional Southern home cookin’ and everything in-between. With five Best Chef America Award recipients, our Farm-to-Table specialty restaurants include Beechwood Inn, Lake Rabun Hotel, Julep Farms, Rabun Manor, The Red Barn Café at Tiger Mountain Vineyards, The Chophouse at LaPrades, The Farmhouse at Waterfall and Fortify Kitchen. Each of their chefs create a unique menu inspired by the day’s local harvest which ensures the ingredients are as fresh as the presentation. Meals are paired with wines that come straight from the vineyard either in the backyard or just around the corner. Our local wineries include Tiger Mountain, 12 Spies, Stonewall Creek and Terra Incognita. Because the soil at this elevation is ideal, they are able to create award winning varieties from their own vines, including Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Manseng. Rabun County is also home many local produce markets, meat processors and other agri-businesses and fairs. When it comes to Georgia agriculture, Rabun County wins the blue ribbon!
