The Mascot Pecan Company has a Southern landmark in Glennville, Georgia, since 1955, starting as a gas station on Hwy 301 South leading Florida. We became selling fresh pecans and candies to travelers making there way to Florida. Over time, I-95 became a Hwy of choice and the travelers stopped using US 301 South and visiting the Mascot. From the humble beginning fifty years ago, the mascot has evolved into a intergrated shelled pecan and candy processor for the specialty food enthusiasts under a new name: The Mascot Pecan Shelling Company, Inc.Today, the Mascot Pecan Shelling Company, Inc. stands in the same location where the original Mascot stood. As a second generation family business.
