That sweet green variety you enjoy on hamburgers and hotdogs is actually classified a pickled cucumber jam. Relish and chutney can be made from many other chopped vegetables, fruits and herbs, like onion, peppers, raspberry, and our favorite – peach.
Here in Georgia, we don’t make the everyday ho-hum jar o’ pickles. Our local growers have kicked things up a notch – from spicy to sweet. Nearly everything grown here is pickled here. Cukes, okra, tomatoes, peaches and even pig’s feet.
