Ingredients

  • 1 Smoked Ham 8 – 12 pounds
  • 2 Tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 4 Cups Coca Cola ©

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil.

In a small saucepan, combine Coca Cola© and mustard, whisking to combine well. Bring to a boil over high heat then reduce to medium. Simmer until reduced to one cup. This will take about 45 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Meanwhile, score ham diagonally cutting about ¼ inch deep cuts about 1 inch apart in both directionals making diamond shaped cuts.

Place ham in preheated oven while glaze cooks and cools. When glaze is slightly cooled, use a pastry or basting brush to the glaze on top, sides and front of ham. Return to oven then repeat this process every fifteen minutes until all glaze is used. Continue cooking the ham until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees. (smoked ham is precooked so it does not have to reach 165 degrees) Let the ham rest for at least 15 minutes then slice and serve.
